G3 Futures Annual Conference 2016

When: 29/06/2016 from 5.30PM  Where: 5G Innovation Centre

Following on from last year’s inaugural G3 Futures games conference, where we heard the call to “Galvanise Guildford’s Games” by working more closely together, and keeping Guildford the “Hollywood of the UK games industry, we are fast approaching this year’s event. We are delighted that we have a number of local games people lined up as our panellists, such as Rocketdesk’s Ben Ward, Rodeo Games’ Ben Murch, James Brooksby from Edge Case Games and Bruce Grove from Polystream.

Free to attend, G3 Futures will provide an opportunity for local gaming companies to network, visit our EXPO, and hear from key note speakers and panels of industry experts on support for the games industry and what the future could look like for Guildford games. A BBQ and drinks are provided for all attendees.

G3 Futures is being organised by The University of Surrey, UKIE (UK Interactive Entertainment trade body) and South East technology law specialist Charles Russell Speechlys. All three organisations are committed to supporting the local gaming industry, helping Guildford to maintain its reputation as a major technology and games hub, often referred to as “the Hollywood of the games industry”.
